Thank you for caring about the health of our river. The vision of FOM is to gather, share, learn and take action for a clear, cool and flowing Maitai River. We value cooperative rather than adversarial interactions with all interested parties. FOM's interest groups which plan and facilitate their own actions are:

  • - Riverbank Planting and Care
  • - Communication
  • - River Monitoring
  • - Forestry

All interested and active members come to the six-weekly HUB meeting, to provide feedback,
discuss and make decisions on matters that effect whole group.
We welcome you to join any groups that match your interests or skills and we look forward to sharing ideas,
actions, creativity, fun and friendship.

FIX IT!

If you see a problem that needs urgent action such as discolouration or litter, please let the Nelson City Council know about it.  Click this link to take you the NCC website Fix-a-gram page.
